Umrah Visa checklist:

• Two recent passport photographs of yourself, facing forwards with your face fully visible in typical passport style.
• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
• Confirmation of your flight and your accommodation during your stay must be provided.
• Women under 45 years of age and children under 18 must be accompanied by a Male Relative (Mahram, which can be a Husband, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Son, Grandson, Uncle or Nephew). The Mahram must be present on the same flights into and out of Saudi Arabia.
• If you do not hold a British passport, you must be a resident of the UK and provide proof such as a recent utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
• Meningitis ACWY vaccination certificate dated within the last 3 years and no less than 10 days before travel.

Other things to think about when booking your Umrah…

Avoiding school holidays will save you a lot of money, flights and hotels work out much cheaper while children are still in school. November is a brilliant time to complete your Umrah as it is also off season and the temperature remains much cooler. If you have a sensitivity to the light, prepare sunglasses as the sunlight can be far brighter than you would imagine!
