Largely locally sourced meals are the norm in Pakistan and Lahore is no different, you’ll find meats which melt in the mouth and curried dishes which are less thick than the Indian counterparts. With spices and flavours which can only be experienced while in Pakistan, you are sure to be amazed by the variance in fantastic meals in Lahore. The walled-city of Lahore rather interestingly contains 13 ancient gates, some of which are replacements as only one survived after the British de-fortification of the city itself. The gates each have a purpose for example, the Roshnai Gate which is used as the Royal entrance to the city, and the Delhi Gate which was originally viewed as the only entrance to the city from Delhi.
