Casa Batlló, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, is the crowning architectural work of Antoni Gaudí and you cant leave Barcelona without a visit!
A benchmark of Modernism, much more than just a building, it has become a legend of art, architecture and timeless universal design. Behind its unique and outstanding façade are hidden architectural details that interact endlessly with light, colour and shapes from nature.
Designed with the greatest possible creativity and using the most highly skilled craftsmen of the day, Casa Batlló expresses an astonishing conceptual freedom and an unusual perfection of form. Its intense evocation of the sea and of magic, together with its most refined succession of artistic and architectural details, today make it one of the most widely admired works of the brilliant Catalan architect.
Casa Batlló, open 365 days a year, seduces visitors with its radical design, its wide range of visual solutions and the creative use of its materials and allegorical values. It fascinates all those who seek the fantastic, the vital and the theatrical.
